Educational Game
Wow - it would REALLY be difficult to only pick out one good "educational" game as I use the sites below in a variety of ways when I work with my "kids"....so I decided to just put a whole bunch down there for reference.......
Knee Bouncers
Knee Bouncers is a great website to utlize with younger age children - both Early Intervention and Early Childhood. It incorporates visual and auditory feedback to promote ongoing participation for the young aged child. KneeBouncer games are designed to be played by simply pressing keys on your keyboard. Quickly pressing keys will advance animations and make special things happen. In this way, even the very young can enjoy interacting with the computer - learning cause and effect, but mostly just having fun!

Starfall
This website is a free on-line service that helps children learn to read with phonics for preschool, kindergarten, and first graders as well as a great resource for home school programs. It includes a lot of ABC animations, animated interactive books and other reading exercises. There are also a lot of downloadable materials such as handouts for classroom use. Exciting phonics games and online interactive books.
Starfall has four reading levels to teach children how to read. The first level teaches preschoolers about the ABCs. In the intermediate beginning reading level, readers can bring the books they will read to life before they read them. In the advanced beginning reading level, children can read a variety of books.
Earobics
This site offers a variety of games to enhance basic language skills - ie spelling, sentence structure; grammar - synonyms/antonyms/homonyms; word sounds, etc.
